Tail Strike Scorpion Spider-Man Classics series 11

One of the best Spiderman classic villians is here at last--Scorpion! And, he is done very, very well. Mac Gargan was hired by J. Jonah Jameson to undergo an experiment which would enable Gargan to easily capture and bring in Spiderman. Gargan got more than he bargained for when the effects of the experiment could not be reversed. He didn't take this news very well. Now he threatens Jameson as well as Spiderman. He is sculpted in his classic costume and tail. He is done in the wonderful Marvel Legends style and scale, so he has almost perfect articulation and poseability. One thing that I wish they had done differently was his head movement. It only moves side to side, not up and down. Up and down would look better when he is crouhing over and his tail is curled directly over his head ready to stike. But, it isn't worth giving the figure a bad rating for it. All the joints were tight and well concealed--except for the wrist and hand joints; they become loose with play. The paint job looks great and the expression on his face is perfect. His tail is long and "bendy" and holds whatever pose you put it in. Plus, there are 3 missiles that can be launched out of the end of the tail. They have a soft, rounded tip so they are fairly safe. Also included with the figure is a newspaper vending machine accessory. It is designed to "collapse" and be battle damaged when Scorpion fires his tail missiles at the white sign on the top of vending machine. It works pretty well, but your youngster may easily break it and will eventually forget about it like mine did. The figure is very nice and he loves to play with it. The Scorpion is money well spent and is a fan favorite. So, be sure to get him quickly for your Spiderman/Marvel Legends fan before he's gone. I highly recommend this one! -- TAIL STRIKE SCORPION IS ONE, GREAT ACTION FIGURE!!
