This wagon is great! My daughter is 8 months old, stands with support, and she needed to take that next step (literally). She wanted to feel more independent in the process of learning to walk other than my wife and I holding her hands. This was the answer we were looking for. This toy does require supervision and assistance while the child is learning to walk, but the thrill of accomplishment that my daughter felt as she took her steps and knew that we weren't holding her was priceless. The flexible rods on the wheels are great and provide just the right amount of resistance needed as they learn to move forward and backwards. She loves it and so do we. It also serves as a place to store toys when playtime is over....my daughter greatly enjoys emptying the wagon of its contents as well. -- Great item for those learning to walk
I give this 3 stars b/c I purchased this in hopes that my son could use this as a baby walker. Totally doesn't work for that function. it's too fast, even with the adjustable speed mechanism. I have hardwood floors. when i put this on the carpet, opposite effect-- he couldn't push at all b/c it was too heavy. i would give it less stars if it weren't for the fact that it's super duper sturdy. i love quality!
overall, not a great baby walker, but a good push toy for a toddler. my son's 3 now. -- Too fast for baby walker on hardwood floors, too heavy for carpet use
We've had our walker wagon for over 2 yrs now, since our son was a year old (he's 3.5 now) & now our daughter, who just turned 1, is using it & loves it too! It's held up great & we haven't had any issues with durability. I love the resist push feature that makes it easier for a new walker to push it & not get pulled down like many other push walkers that just roll away with the slightest touch. I like the rubber bumper so it doesn't harm my furniture or walls too. And the removable wood sides always entertain my son who loves taking them out & putting them back in. The basket is more than ample to fit my 1-yr-old daughter too, who enjoys riding in it around the house as much as she does pushing it. And it's fun to put toys in the basket too so she can push them around. I love the classic design & wooden construction too. This is an heirloom-quality toy that will be passed from generation to generation. -- Wonderful Walker Wagon!
Essentially it is great for what it is intended to do - it is heavier and able to be rolled more slowly for beginning walkers. And since it has all that space in the cart, i actually used a few yearbooks to weight it down a bit more.
However, all of the wooden rails come out, so of course that is all my Zoe wants to do with it. take out the wood rails and then climb inside of it, which makes me nervous. so i wish the rails had someway of locking in, but other than that, good purchase. -- OK but some flaws
